Japanese illustrator Mori Chack created Gloomy Bear or Guru-mi back in 2000. It all started from a collection of postcards filled with illustrations of a pink grizzly bear with its human friend, Piti. There’s always a bloodied mess with the love-hate relationship between this violent kawaii creature and his buddy!In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the series, Chax collaborated with an avant-garde clothing company from Shibuya called “elements, H” in releasing a special line of mint tablet tins. This kawaii candy case features an illustration of Gloomy Bear playing with Piti-kun, his human buddy! Simply slide the lid to get your mint candies.
